+ Joan Lady Hodge, second wife of the late Sir John Hodge, 2nd Bt

Joan, Lady Hodge, who died 22 March, 2005, was the second of the four
wives of the late Sir John Rowland Hodge, MBE, 2nd Baronet, and was a
grandmother maternally of the model Jodie Kidd.

Her youngest daughter, Vicki Hodge, a model, had an affair with the
young Prince Andrew; and her granddaguhter, Jemma Kidd, is shortly to
become the bride of Arthur Wellesley, Earl of Mornington, a descendant
of Queen Victoria.

Lady Hodge was the former Joan Wilson, daughter of Sydney Foster
Wilson, and married wealthy insurance broker John Hodge as his second
wife in 1939. He succeeded to the family baronetcy in 1950, and the
marriage was dissolved by divorce in 1961.

Joan Hodge was the mother of three daughters, Wendy, Sally and Vicki.
(i) Wendy Hodge, b. 1941, married, in 1973, as her second husband, John
Kidd, a grandson of the 1st Baron Beaverbrook, and is the mother of
mannequin Jodie Kidd and of Jemma Kidd (who is to marry the Earl of
Mornington, grandson of the Duke of Wellington); (ii) Sally Hodge, b.
1943, an actress, has a son, Anthony, born out of wedlock in 1977, to
Gerald Clavien, a Swiss businessman; (iii) Vicki Hodge, a model, who
married, 4 Dec, 1969, George Ian Alexander Heath, son of Sir Barrie
Heath, and later had an affair with the Duke of York.

The funeral takes place at Putney Vale Crematorium, Monday 4 April,
2005.
