I am finding this morning that clinking on links to The Peerage.com website brings up a message "This account has been suspended". Does anyone know the background to this?

In a similar vein, is anyone familiar with the fate of Alt.talk.royalty group? I stumbled across their Peerage FAQ while researching a coat if arms project in junior high school.

I pored over their their explanations of the peerage, succession, titles, etc. over and over again, which really sparked my interest in the subject. I realize its been mostly Spam and nonsense for a long time, but it looks like its finally been taken down. The posts used to, I believe, be quite good! Was anyone here a member?

I used to belong to that group as well, but there was too much spam so deleted it.

Yeah it was all spam at the end. I think I started reading the FAQ and the actual group probably around 2000/2001. IIRC, there was more about foreign royalty, and there was more thematic discussion/debate than this group. Thanks!

Thepeerage.com is now back up and running

Apologies to all for the outage-the web hosting company found a bug on the site and took it down until I fixed it.

Uploads will continue in July when I get back from traveling
