Beloved wife of Patrick and loving mother of James, Thomas and Matthew and devoted grandmother of Desiree. She was d of Cuthbert Edward Alphonso RIDDELL 1907-92 scion of that gentry family and Estelle Mary NASH 1914-99. She m 1980 Hon (Richard) Patrick Sheffield b 1947 Lt-Col Rt Hon Airey Middleton Sheffield NEAVE DSO OBE TD MP 1916-79 (2xgt gs of Sir Thomas NEAVE 2nd Bt 1761-1848) and the LP Baroness AIREY OF ABINGDON 1919-92 (nee GIFFARD and gd of Sir William Henry TROLLOPE 10th Bt 1858-1921), and had three sons as above.
