Sir Martin [sic] Evans-Bevan
Passed away aged 92 on the 5th November 2024
A memorial service will be held at St Matthew’s Church, Llandefalle, Brecon on 23 January 2025. At 2pm. Sadly missed by family and friends. No flowers please. Donations if desired can be made to Wales Air Ambulance.

EVANS-BEVAN Sir Martin Evan

He was the son of Sir David Martyn EVANS-BEVAN (1902-1973) cr a Baronet 1958, and (m 1929) Eira Winifred GLANLEY (d 2001).  He m 1957 Jennifer Jane Marion STEVENS and had four sons, the eldest of whom succeeds as 3rd Baronet, subject to proving his claim:

(Sir) David Gawain Evans-Bevan, 3rd Bt b 16 Sep 1961 m 1987 Philippa Alice SWEENY and has issue:-

• PATRIC DAVID b 9 Feb 1994 (ha)
• Robert Alexander b 1998
• Alice Laura b 1989

Sir Martyn was High Sheriff of Breconshire 1967/68  (as was his father in 1929) and according to DPB 2019 was resident in Jersey, as was also the new Baronet

The entire line of succession is made up of the new baronet's 2 sons (as in colinp's post), his 3 brothers, and the son of the youngest brother.
