From the Telegraph of 27 May 2021: ROE Caroline Jane (nee Maltby) peacefully at home on 23rd May. Adored wife of Alex and mother of Char, Ed and Jamie. Family funeral. A celebration of Caroline's life will be held in due course.
She was d of John Newcombe MALTBY CBE 1928-98 scion of that gentry family of Greenacre and Lady Sylvia Veronica Anthea HARRIS b 1934 d of 6th Earl of MALMESBURY 1907-2000 and Hon Diana Claudia Patrick CARLETON 1912-90 d of 2nd Baron DORCHESTER 1876-1963 etc.
