From the Telegraph of 14 July 2026: FABER Michael David Tufnell, died peacefully on 26th June 2026, aged 80 at home in Sandwich Bay surrounded by his family. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was s of Julian Tufnell FABER 1917-2002 and Lady (Ann) Caroline MACMILLAN 1923-2016 d of sometime British Prime Minister 1 Earl of STOCKTON 1894-1986 and Lady Dorothy Evelyn CAVENDISH 1900-66 d of 9 Duke of DEVONSHIRE 1868-1938 and Lady Evelyn Emily Mary PETTY-FITZMAURICE 1870-1960 d of 5 Marquess of LANSDOWNE 1845-1927, as well gd of 1 Duke of ABERCORN 1811-85, gt gd of 6th Duke of BEDFORD 1766-1839 etc etc. He m 1968 Catherine Suzanne d of Count Robert DE BRAINE, and had a son and a dau.
