Congratulations to Lara Lettice Johnson-Wheeler, oldest of Boris Johnson’s seven children, who announces her engagement today in The Times to Patrick Müller, a German art director based in London…. One assumes the former prime minister won’t be organising the wedding. When Lara was six she wanted a princess party; Boris interpreted that in a Tudor sense and got a neighbour to dress as an executioner. “Most of the children were horrified, particularly when Anne Boleyn lost her head (a balloon and ketchup were involved),” his daughter wrote on her blog. “I was kind of used to it.”
