He m 1958 Countess Liduina Maria Fortunata b 1933 d of Count Charles-Alphonse Aurelius Amrie Fortunatus Antoine VON OBERNDORFF 1906-98 and Jacqueline DE SAUVAN D'ARAMON 1903-90, and had two sons and a dau, his elder son succeeds him:

The new baronet's wife, née France Marie Bernard DE HAUTECLOCQUE, was born on 8 February 1957. Her father, Count Bernard Auguste François DE HAUTECLOCQUE (23 IX 1921 - 24 VIII 1956), who, sadly, died before her birth, had married her mother, Roseline VAN CALOEN (born 12 I 1925) on 1 October 1948 in Belgium, and she was the youngest child.
