Online research shows her to be an award winning writer, poet, educator and researcher, with an impressive resume.  She was born December 19, 1984 in San Francisco, California.

If they are first planning to marry nearly 8 months from now, it seems, on the surface at least, they might not be planning to produce any heirs to the title.

Brooke- I'm not sure that's a correct identification; everything I could find regarding the person you mention gives her name consistently as "YALIE Saweda Kamara", with nothing even indicating she doesn't use the first name. A LinkedIN post (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/yaliekamara_ive-been-pinching-myself-for-a-week-and-activity-6910086175433064448-DCk7) also gives "Endless gratitude to my mom Agatha Kamara", which doesn't fit the Times announcement. She seems also from that LinkedIN post to have three sisters, and the woman in the announcement is "only daughter".

The woman marrying is "Saweda K. Kamara", which is quite considerably different; it seems odd that elsewhere the academic is given as "Dr Yalie Saweda Kamara" but in a wedding announcement would consent to be "Ms". Per 192.com, a Saweda K. Kamara was resident at London N.3 2002-6 alongside Jeannette A. James and Alex B. Kamara, as well as a Christopher A. Smythe-Macaulay, which all fits the details in the Times announcement; the memorial page (https://www.forevermissed.com/alex-bai-kamara/about) for an Alex Bai Kamara (1939-2019) which per family comments was written by his son, includes "Today is the first day of our lives without a father. I had 50 years, my sister 47"; comments strongly indicate only two children, so one can conclude this Saweda Kamara was born c. 1972, much closer to Charles Vivian b. 1966. A comment on the memorial site from this Saweda Kamara implies residence in the U.S., but taking a quick glance at- selected at random- the Sierra Leone Gazette of 1977 shows "Kamara" is not an uncommon surname, and Sierra Leonian Sawedas are not incredibly rare, it seems.

Hi G.

From your investigation, it does sound like the future Lady Vivian is a different person than the person I identified.  My mistake was thinking that the name was relatively rare, but apparently not.

Thank you so much for the correction, although one thing remains true, and even more so now in the correct identification-- with a birth year c. 1972, it's unlikely that the next Lord Vivian will be the result of this union.

Very well done analysis, G., and thanks again for the correction.
