He m 1972 Venetia Clare b 1953 d of Kenneth Malcolm RITCHIE b 1926 reg Q2 Yorks and Leila Rosemary AGNEW 1928-2020 d of Richard Leslie AGNEW 1900-87 (gs of Sir William AGNEW 1^st Bt 1825-1910) and Leila May 1905-84 d of Brig-Gen Anthony COURAGE DSO MC 1875-1944 scion of that gentry family of Edgcote, and Mabel Ada 1881-1958 d of Sir John Prescott HEWETT GCSI KBE CIE 1854-1941, and had a son and three daus.
