Who's Who 2011 obituaries date the death to 5 July 2010:

two sons by his 2nd wife, the eldest of whom was born before their
marriage and cosequently is not in line to the titles:

HALF-BROTHERS LIVING (Sons of 7th/8th Viscount by 2nd wife)
Hon Oliver John Beauchamp b (23 Jan) 1972, not in line to the title
Hon Nicholas Alexander Mowbray (born 20 June 1974) heir presumptive

[Note: Burke's date the 2nd marriage to 22 December 1972 and show
(incorrectly) the Hon Oliver J B St John (b 23 Jan 1972) as in line to
the title by the use of a + sign.]

I assume that the Hon Oliver John Beauchamp St John was born prior to
his parents marriage. That being the case, how is it that he is an
'Hon'?

The Hon is a matter of courtesy and accorded to children born prior to
their parents marriage, upon the marriage of the parents, it is non
hereditary, see the Barony of St Leonards, Wardington, Halberton for
further examples. The Bolingbroke peerages may eventually end up
merging with those of the earldom of Orkney, as apart from the issue
of the late Viscount, there is Walter Warren, b 1921, who has an only
son, b 1950, who has an unmarried son b German Andres b 1980.

The site about the descendants of William I has some additional
information:

http://www.william1.co.uk/w6869707172.html

If their information is correct, Walter Warren St John died in 2004
and his only son in 1991. That leaves only German Andres, the Orkney
family and a distant cousin born 1942 in remainder to the title after
the heir presumptive (Nicholas Alexander Mowbray).

Richard, is this passing the only peer's passing listed in Who's Who
2011 that was not posted here?

Thanks.
