LACONIA, NH Donna Lee Lesslie, 61, of 103 Blueberry Lane, died January 3, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family, after a battle with cancer. Born in Marblehead Massachusetts on April 6, 1948, she was the daughter of William Stanley and Bettie [Hough] Smethurst. She grew up in Marblehead and graduated from Marblehead schools. She resided in Brooklyn, Conn, for several years and then in Peabody, Mass. She moved to Groton, NH over twenty-six years ago and resided in the Baker and Pemigewasset River Valleys for many years. She has been a resident of Laconia for the past three years. She operated a country store while living in Brooklyn Conn. and for many years a home for foster children in Peabody. She worked for several years in the communications and dispatch department of the NH Electric Cooperative, in Plymouth. She was predeceased by her son, John Waller and daughter, Donna Somers. She was an avid lover of antiques and jewelry and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Michael F. Waller and wife Jennifer of Laconia, nine grandchildren, Aaron, Mirinda, Kyle, Elizabeth, Shawn, Jeremy, Timothy, Michael and Jessica, sisters, Gail Hendricks of Danielson, CT, Nancy Woodward, Jolee Schriner, and Rozanne Stringham, all of Gillette, PA, several nieces, nephews, and close friends…..

She m (1) 1964 (div) as his 1st w John Clifton WALLER Jr b 1940, scion of the Waller Baronets (I 1780) being descended from the 3rd brother of the 4th Baronet. It appears from the comments on the obit notice that John Waller was alive at the time of her death.
