From the Telegraph of 5 April 2022: Patrick Heugh Robert Eyre, Master Mariner, died peacefully on 31st March, aged 77. Beloved husband of Jennifer, father of Caroline and James, grandfather of Charlie, Edward and George. Funeral Service on Wednesday 20th April 2022 at Yeovil Crematorium at 1.20 pm, and Thanksgiving Service at St James's East Chelborough at 3.30 pm. Family flowers, donations if wished to Missions to Seamen, or via Brister & Son funeral directors...
He was s of Lt-Col Trevor George Corry EVANS 1910-99 (5xgt gs Rt Hon George EVANS 1658-1720 f of 1st Baron CARBERY c1680-1749) and Sara Gwendolyn DRUMMOND d 2001 of New Zealand. He m 1970 Jennifer Robin Granville b 1943 reg Q4 Salop d of Capt Brian Granville WHITE RM 1914-44 of Chaldon, Surrey by his 1940 m reg Q2 Surrey to Theo Hallam SWIFT 1915-2006, and had a son and a dau as above.
