I know that I might be rather behind the times here, but I have just
seen ep 1 of the "Duchess" has the duke had a stroke or an accident? I
must say that he looked rather fragile for someone who isn't even 50
and looked more like 65. Of course the program is presented in a
rather dumbed down way, but still nonetheless interesting. I suppose
that the only duke who might waited on hand and foot in the
traditional sense is Westminster? Thoughts please.

I believe His Grace has some sort of disability in his right hand.

Well he looked like he was dragging his left foot slightly when
walking so I supposed that it might have been a stroke?

He is running in the by election for a crossbench sent in the House of Lords. The election is to replace Viscount Montgomery of Alamein who has retired.
