From the Telegraph of 8 July 2022: MILLAR Andrew Michael Talbot died peacefully at home on 3rd July, aged 75. Much loved husband, father and grandfather. He was s of Lt-CDR Michael Darracott MILLAR RN 1924-73 and Rosemary Ann HUNN. He m 1973 Patricia b 1949 d of Arthur Sebastian GILBEY 1919-64 (gt gs of Sir Walter GILBEY 1st Bt 1831-1914) and Jennifer Beryl 1924-91 d of William Nigel Ernle BRUCE 1895-1953 (s of Sir William Waller BRUCE of Stenhouse 10th Bt 1856-1912) and Violet Pauline SHELTON d 1970, and had a son and a dau.

born 8 October 1946, son of Michael Darracott Millar and of his wife, Rosemary Ann Hunn.
His paternal grandmother was Rosalind Cockburn, of the Baronets, whose own mother was Lilian Manningham-Buller, of those Baronets.
His great-grandfather, Charles C H Millar, married Beatrix du Maurier, from that literary family, descended from the notorious Mary Anne Clarke, mistress of Frederick, Duke of York.
Lastly, he was cousins to the Millars, Barons Inchyra.
