Beloved husband of Sue, father of James, Ed, Jamie and Polly, and 'Po' to Finton, Hector, Jamie, Heidi and Leila. Memorial Service in St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth at 2 p.m. on 7th November 2025.

Is this Gordon Douglas Birdwood b 1942 s of Lt-Col Roderick Esmond Thomas KEELAN 1912-65 and her 1^st h Margaret Riddell 1915-2018 (Mrs Douglas Grant) d of Lt-Col Gordon Travers BIRDWOOD 1867-1945 (bro of 1st Baron BIRDWOOD GCB GCMG GCSI GCVO CIE DSO 1865-1951, and through his mother 4xgt gs of Sir Walter RIDDELL 4^th Bt 1664-1747) and his 2nd w Alice Caroline d of Col Henry Thomas FINLAY DL 1847-1936 sometime head of that Irish gentry family of Corkagh House and Helen Lucy DUNNE 1857-1902 scion of that Irish gentry family of Brittas. He m 1966 Shandra Elizabeth d of Stanley GLASBROOK of Parc Henri, Dryslwyn, Carmarthen. I’ve found two of their sons: James Douglas b c1972 reg Q1 Hants and Roderick Edward b 1975 reg Q2 Devon.
