From the Telegraph of 21 Oct 2022: HAMILTON-RUSSELL Alison, peacefully on 18th October. Beloved wife of James, devoted mother of Julia, Mark and Edward, and adored grandmother of Freddie, Tilly, Rosie, Oscar, Milo, Florence and Rachel. Private family funeral.
She was d of Lt-Col Sydney Haydn HEARD MBE CStJ. She m 1965 James Gustavus s of Maj Hon John HAMILTON-RUSSELL 1911-43 (s of 9th Viscount BOYNE 1864-1942) and Lady Diana LEGGE 1910-70 d of 7th Earl of DARTMOUTH 1881-1958 and gd of 1st and only Marquess of LINCOLNSHIRE 1843-1928 etc, and had two sons and a dau as above.

Her husband, James HAMILTON-RUSSELL, is a Joint Lord Great Chamberlain, his share currently being represented by Lord CARRINGTON who is exercising the office in the current reign.
