The engagement was announced 29 October 2009 and reported by Michael
Rhodes.

The groom was then 42 and the bride 38.
"Clare is the baby of the family. David is five years her senior, and
she also has an elder brother, Alex, 46 - a QC, who is married to TV
chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's cousin Sarah - and an elder sister,
Tania, 44, who is married to consultant cardiologist Dr Carl
Brookes."

It was Clare Cameron who introduced her brother to her friend Samantha
Sheffield, now his wife.
