He was the son of John Byng Oswald Carleton Paget b 1939 presumably of the Irish gentry family Carleton Paget formerly Carleton and (m 1964) Sheila Anne b 1943 dau of George Hugh LOWTHER (1912-1976) (whose mother was the Hon Lilah Charlotte Sarah WHITE dau of the 3rd Baron Annaly GCVO) and (m 1938) Sheila Rachel Isabel FOSTER (d 1980).  He m Fiona MAYNARD
