The Prime Minister announced yesterday, 10 October (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/ministerial-appointments-10-october-2024), the following ministerial appointment:
"The King has been pleased to approve the appointment of Poppy Gustafsson OBE as Minister of State (Minister for Investment) jointly in the Department for Business and Trade and HM Treasury.
His Majesty has also been pleased to signify His intention of conferring a Peerage of the United Kingdom for Life on Poppy Gustafsson OBE."
She was born on 24 August 1982 (Who's Who). Her OBE announcement (https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3294263) has Poppy as her only forename, but the GRO index of births has her as "Poppy Clare V" (Q3 of 1982, Kettering, surname Prentis).

It appears that she is the daughter of John Robert Elvy PRENTIS (born 12 III 1956) and his wife (marriage registered Q3 1979 - Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire), Gillian Mary ("Gilly") JOHNSON (born 13 V 1955). She has a brother, Laurie Edward Rufus PRENTIS (born 14 III 1987).

From the House of Lords Minutes of Proceedings 18 Nov 2024:

Baroness Gustafsson Poppy Clare Veronica Gustafsson, OBE, having been created Baroness Gustafsson, of Chesterton in the City of Cambridge, for life by Letters Patent dated 15 November, was introduced between Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho and Lord Vallance of Balham, took and subscribed the oath and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
