The birth of Katherine A L LYNNE was registered in Marylebone in Q1 1965. The marriage of her parents, John Rhodes Spencer LYNNE (born 1932) and (Rosalind) Valerie Wilson NICOL (born 30 IX 1939), was registered in Surrey South Western in Q1 1961.

John Lynne was the son of Heron Spencer LYNNE (c.1900/01 - 11 VIII 1965) and his wife (married 1928), Beryl Amy BRADSTREET (1902 - 4 IV 1996).

Heron Lynne was the son of Spencer LYNNE (1838 - 9 IX 1903) and his wife (married 1884), May ATHERLEY (c.1859 - 6 I 1947), of the Atherley (now Cator) family, of Landguard Manor, near Shanklin, Isle of Wight, which, per Burke's Family Index, last appeared in Burke's Landed Gentry in the 1921 edition.
