From the Telegraph & Times of 8 Dec 2022: LESLIE MELVILLE On 5th December, at her flat in Windsor, Pamela, much loved sister of Hamish and Fiona. Service to be announced.
She was elder d of Maj Michael Ian LESLIE MELVILLE 1918-97 (gs of 13th Earl of LEVEN & [12th of] MELVILLE 1835-1906) and Cynthia 1921-86 d of Sir Charles Jocelyn HAMBRO KBE MC 1897-1963 scion of that gentry family of The Hyde and Pamela COBBOLD 1900-32 scion of that gentry family of Glemham Hall and gd of 7th Earl of DUNMORE 1841-1907, gt gd of 2nd Earl of LEICESTER 1822-1909 as also descendant of ABEL SMITH the banker of Notts etc etc. She never married.
