Madeleine Hope (Malene)
Passed away peacefully on 21st July, 2015 at Tweed Heads, formerly of Kingscliff, Boonah and Blenheim, NZ. Aged 100 years.
Beloved Wife of John Vavasour and Philip (Pip) Vavasour (both deceased). Dearly loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Anne & Dave Adams, Ginny & Brian (deceased) Cowan, Jeromy (deceased) & Joan, Marcia and Owen Finger. Proud and loving Nana and Great nan to all her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Requiem Mass for Malene to be Celebrated at St Anthony's Catholic Church, Pearl Street, Kingscliff on Friday, 7th August, 2015 commencing at 9.00am.

She married 1937 John Louis Vavasour (1905-1987) and then in 1988 she married his brother Henry Philip Bede Vavasour (1907-1997).
Her husbands were of the Vavasour Baronets and the Barons Stourton.
