From the Telegraph of 17 Feb 2021: TUDWAY QUILTER Elizabeth Mary known by many as Bubbles. Died peacefully in hospital after a short illness on 14th February 2021 aged 91. She will be hugely missed and always loved. Private funeral to be followed by a celebration of her life when possible.

She was d of Sir John Gawen CAREW POLE 12th Bt (1902-93) and Cynthia Mary (d 1977) d of Walter Spencer Morgan BURNS (1872-1929) and Ruth Evelyn CAVENDISH-BENTINCK (1883-1978, 2xgt gd of 3rd Duke of PORTLAND (1738-1809) and 3xgt gd of 4th Duke of DEVONSHIRE (1720-64) etc etc). She m 1953 David Cuthbert TUDWAY QUILTER (1921-2007) s of Percy Cuthbert QUILTER (1879-1947, s of Sir William Cuthbert QUILTER 1st Bt (1841-1911)) and Gladys Clare Alice TUDWAY (1887-1973) scion of that gentry family of Wells, and had a son and three daus.
