From the Telegraph of 15 March 2026: COODE Bryan, died on 10th March 2026, much loved by Sally-Jane, Alexander and Charlie, and all his grandchildren. Funeral Service at Creed Church at 11 a.m. on Monday 13th April.
He was s of Col George Claudius Sandys COODE MBE 1910-97 scion of that gentry family f/o Polapit Tamar and Katharine Heywood 1913-2002 d of Capt Reginald Heywood WATSON 1878-1914 by his 7 June 1910 m (St Margaret, Westminster) to as her 1 h Rose 1878-1941 (Mrs Ralph Hopkinson) d of George GLANFIELD 1835-1922 by his 8 Sep 1858 m (St Mary the Virgin, Woodford) to Emily Frances READ 1838-1927. He m 1965 reg Q3 Chelsea Sally-Jane b 1943 reg Q4 Dorset d of Lt-Gen Sir John Guise COWLEY GC KBE CB 1905-93 and Irene Sybil 1911-2001 d of Percy Dreuille MILLEN 1870-1944 of Berkhamsted, Herts by his 23 April 1896 m (St Clement, Notting Hill) to Emily (Emmie) Maude PARKHOUSE 1876-1956, and had two sons:
