This death of a Baronet (not on the roll) has escaped notice - he is still listed as the Baronet in Debrett's database and the Kershaw list.

Allan Morris - Passed away suddenly on Sunday, 16th October, 2016 at his home in Georgetown. Allan was 54 years of age. Loving husband and best friend to Cheronne for 30 years. Loving dad to Chelsea, Sennen and Chace. Allan will be missed by family, friends and work colleagues. Cremation has taken place. [...]

He was the son of (Sir) Robert Byng MORRIS, 10th Baronet (1913 - 1999, not on the roll) and Christine Kathleen FIELD.  He m 1986 Cheronne Denise WHITFORD and with her had two sons and a dau. He has been succeeded by his eldest son (Sir) Sennen John MORRIS, 12th Baronet (born 1995), but like his father and grandfather, does not yet appear on the Roll of the Baronetage.  His younger brother Chace is the heir presumptive, and in fact the only remaining heir.

Henry, thanks for your hard word in finding out about the late baronet's passing.

Hopefully, Debrett's and all other appropriate organizations will update their records as well.

Yes thanks Henry. You and Colin are determined and prolific in searching out BMDs of interest and (surprise, surprise) not found by Debrett's.

I see the notice suggests his wife of 30 years [1986-2016] predeceased him.

Thanks Richard - the death seems to have been known to Who's Who and Wikipedia (since an Aug 2020 edit) - it is odd that there is an editor there who has not found their way onto this group as lots of peerage/baronetage google searches do turn up results in the group.  We are all definitely indebted to you too - your daily checking of the Times & Telegraph notices is invaluable to us.

Regarding the late Baronet's wife - I don't think the notice suggests she has died.  As 30 years takes us from 1986 to 2016 as you say, it is the Baronet's death in 2016 that "ended" the relationship.

Ah yes of course. I was thinking of the Bt's death as a more recent event.

Debrett's Online Database has finally updated this record.
