He died 4 May 2017 in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada - presumably the home of his mother - see obituary here -  Gerald Erskine | Obituaries | Elhatton's Funeral Home Ltd.

"He was predeceased by his father, Roger Thomas Erskine (1975), and is survived by his sons: Andrew and Ian Erskine, his siblings: Neil, Joe and Jane Erskine, and his loving mother, Florence Erskine (nee Taylor)."

He was the son of Roger Thomas ERSKINE (1933-1975) scion of the Earls of Buchan being descended from the 3rd s of the 1st Baron Erskine, 3rd son of the 10th Earl, and (m 1956) Florence Elizabeth TAYLOR.  He m (1)1978 (div 2001) Carolyn WHITE and (2) 200- Mrs Cynthia __ and had 2 s by his 1st m
