8th Viscount St. Vincent (1951-2023)

As I continue to go through the DPB Online database for additions to the immediate lines of succession of hereditary peerages, I was surprised to come across the passing of the 8th Viscount St. Vincent in 2023.

Edward Robert James Jervis (b. 1951) had succeeded his father to the viscountcy in 2006.  I can't find the actual date of death.

He is succeeded by his only son, the 9th Viscount,  James Richard Anthony (b. 1982), who is unmarried.

The current immediate line of succession is as follows:

1. Hon RONALD NIGEL JOHN (b. 1954), uncle of the current Viscount;

2. David Stephen (b. 1988), unmarried, son of #1

The online links all seem to have expired, but googling "Edward Jervis St Vincent" brought up 20th June 2023 as the death date and some text from the then-visible death notices.  Death was at home, although there is no indication as to where this was.

James Richard Anthony JERVIS is now entered on the Roll of the Peerage as Viscount St Vincent in the Peerage of the United Kingdom
