[n.b.- just as a minor point of vague interest: Alfred Spencer Thursfield's younger brother, Rev. Richard Cecil Thursfield (1866-1941) was grandfather of John Richard Thursfield (1937-), who married Sarah, dau. of Charles Clinton Dawkins. His first cousin was the grandfather of the evolutionary biologist and writer (Clinton) Richard Dawkins. A very distant link, of course, but the combination of 'Clinton' and 'Dawkins' piqued my interest!]
