He was s Capt Codrington Francis CRAWSHAY 1920-93 scion of that Welsh gentry family f/o Cyfarthfa Castle &c and his former w (her 1^st h, her 2^nd was Robert Montgomerie-Charrington scion of that gentry family) Rachel Arden 1921-2006 d of Maj Ralph Frederic BURY KC 1876-1954 sometime head of that gentry family of St Leonards House and his 1st w (her 1^st h) Esme Violet BENTLEY 1898-1986. He m 1979 reg Q3 Sussex Philippa Alexandra b c1954 d of Donald Webster GIBBS 1925-82 and Alexandra Ruth YOUNG-HERRIES 1925-2011 scion of that gentry family of Spottes, and had three daus as above.
