It seems the ever unreliable BBC was claiming this 27 year old to be the ‘youngest ever member of the House of Lords’. This is obviously wrong. I was wondering therefore  if it might be a good peerage-news challenge to make a list of peers who took their seat at 21, and certainly at ages of 27 and younger?

Any information on Ms Carmen Smith's origins ??
 
Great to see the daughter of the 3rd viscount Monckton of Benchley to
become a Baroness. I always thought her husband, the journalist would have
received a Life Barony prior.

July last year at a ceremony in Bruton, Somerset, welcomed their son *on

Osborne and Rogers announced their engagement in April 2021, with the
former Cabinet minister saying at the time: 'I have probably never been
happier in my life.' The couple welcomed their first child, a son named
Beau, in July of the same year, before their second son, Arthur, was born

Osborne also has two older children, Luke and Liberty, from his first
marriage to author Frances Howell, who he divorced in 2019 after 21 years

home on 6th February aged 91. Much loved sister of Minou, wonderful mother
to Atalanta,David and Joanna, and adored by her *six grandchildren* and *five
great grandchildren*. Funeral to be held at St Cyriac's Church, Lacock at
11 a.m. on Wednesday 21st February.
