It looks like maybe some of you have already had access to this volume.

If there are any  peerage/baronetage deaths in the Obituaries section  that have not been previously posted here, please do so.

Also, please post any new ha or hp etc., if you find them.

I have reviewed all 2024 updates, to the best of my ability, online using the Who's Who search function and do not see any other changes of which I was not aware.  Others may be, albeit I cannot search back on this site to check for myself, but the three baronet changes I did not have were Leith-Buchanan (26th May 2018), Nelson of Acton Park (2023) and Ward of Wellington (2021).  One think that strikes me is that almost none of the (very high) new intake of MPs have chosen to list their dates of birth.

NONE OF THE CHANGES BELOW APPEAR IN DPB (as far as i know)

LONDONDERRY, MARQUESS OF - married 2022 RITA IRIS REGINA NOWAK (i believe this union was reported last year but DPB have not updated this page)

NORTHAMPTON, MARQUESS OF - h.a. EARL COMPTON has 2 sons by his second marriage HON HENRY (IN DPB) & HON LOUIS B.2021 (NOT IN DPB) - however i have reported this birth elsewhere as appearing on GRO but not in DPB)

SOMERSET, DUKE OF - h.a. LORD SEYMOUR married as his 2nd wife 2023 POPPY WILCOX (i believe their engagement has been noted elsewhere)

WELLINGTON, DUKE OF - h.a. EARL OF MORNINGTON - married as his 2nd wife 2022 HALEY ELIZABETH WHITEHEAD

BRADFORD, EARL OF - divorced his 2nd wife Penelope Law in 2022

COURTOWN EARL OF - h.a.VISCOUNT STOPFORD - has son and heir HON JAMES B.2022 (in DPB) but also has A DAUGHTER (NAME & DATE OF BIRTH NOT KNOWN)

CROMER, EARL OF - divorced his 2nd wife SHELLEY CHANG in 2017 & married as his 3rd wife 2022 JIRAPORN BUENGMAN (again i believe this married as reported last year but NOT IN DPB)

DUNDONALD, EARL OF - divorced his 1st wife BEATRICE RUSSO in 2012 & married 2nd) 2023 MARINA AIKATERINE HELENE STASSANOPOULOS

I don't find any of those changes in DPB Online either.

I have noted several "important"  events (by that, I mean the births of those in the very immediate line of succession) that were posted here (no doubt, many of them by you) that still haven't appeared in DPB Online.  

The ones that come to mind are the birth of a son and heir to Viscount Lascelles,  the birth of a son and heir to the brother and hp of the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne,  and the birth of a son and heir to Viscount Newport.  I'm not sure the Strathmore situation would show up in Who's Who 2025, but I wonder if the other two have made it in.

To answer your questions the entry for Viscount Newport (h.a to Earl of Bradford) shows his marriage but not the birth of his heir. The entry (for the 2nd year) for Viscount Lascelles (h.a to Earl of Harewood) shows his heir to be Hon Kit Lascelles,  bearing in mind that the Hon Kit is now 1 year old as he was born in June 2023 (i sent a message last year to DPB regarding this entry and nothing has appeared, maybe if we all send a message they might update their records). As for the Strathmore situation i have not reached that entry yet, but will post more that i find.

Re: the Strathmore heir.  Per Henry W's post Dec 23, 2023 (and I think there was at least one other post before that one), the heir to the hp is named Albermarle John.

The birth of John's son,eliminates,for the time being,the possibility of the Scottish and English earldoms descending to different heirs-George was born out of wedlock,but legitimated by his parents later marriage, so cannot succeed to the English earldom,only the Scottish one.
