_.The engagement was announced 11 May, 2013, between James William Nicholas Bentley (b 1982), son of (Charles) James Sharp Bentley, of Oxford, by his wife the Hon Victoria Elizabeth Mansfield (b 1957), of Battersea, London, and Abigail J. Kettle, only daughter of Mr & Mrs Anthony Kettle, of Bolton, Lancashire.

James Bentley is a grandson maternally of (John Edward) Terence Mansfield, 5th Baron Sandhurst (1920-2002) (Peerage of the UK, cr 1871).
