She was d of Maj Leonard Proby HAVILAND 1884-1971 and Helen Dorothea 1902-72 d of Gen Sir Charles FERGUSSON 7 Bt 1865-1951 of Kilkerran and Lady Alice Mary BOYLE 1877-1958 d of 7th Earl of GLASGOW 1833-1915 and Dorothea Elizabeth Thomasina 1851-1923 d of Sir Edward HUNTER BLAIR 4 Bt 1818-96 of Blairquan &c. She m 1948 Edgar David 1919-2008 d of Rev Edgar STOGDON 1870-1951 by his m to Louisa Dalrymple 1881-1940 d of Robert Henry Duncan DUNDAS 1823-1912 scion of that Scots gentry family of Dundas (as well gs of 1 Viscount DUNCAN 1731-1804) and Hon Catherine Anne Carrington NAPIER 1841-1929 d of FM 1 Baron NAPIER OF MAGDALA 1810-90 and his 1 w Anne Sarah PEARSE 1820-49, and had 3 sons and 2 daus.
