I must admit at pausing for a moment at the words "His Majesty."

From  Dominic Johnson's wikipedia page:
In 2006, he married Alice Rose Alethea Hamilton (born 1974), the daughter of Archibald Hamilton, Baron Hamilton of Epsom.

Lord Markham has today taken his seat in the House of Lords. Nothing has been gazetted yet, but the webcast of the ceremony indicates that he is Nicholas Francis Markham CBE, Lord Markham, of East Horsley in the County of Surrey. Letters patent sealed 7 October - the first peerage created by Charles III.
Interestingly there is no sign as yet of letters patent creating the Duke of Cambridge as Prince of Wales, though there are recent precedents for royal titles being sealed some weeks after they were announced and brought into use: the dukedom of Sussex was announced on 19 May 2018 and the letters patent sealed on 16 July 2018. The dukedom of Cambridge was announced on 29 April 2011 and the letters patent sealed on 26 May 2011.

If anyone would like to watch the Introduction and to hear the clerk read out the first Letters Patent for a peerage created by the King, the video is available here:

I notice they are still doing to socially distanced version for the Introduction.

It's not really the socially distanced version of an introduction.  It's simply that he was introduced 3.5 hours before the House sits so nobody was there except the gaggle at the back waiting to take the oath and a few random Peers who were there for heaven knows what.

I meant the way the supporters stand apart, either side of the crossbenches, instead of the three standing in line in front of the crossbenches to bow. The new peer also stands some distance from the clerk while the Letters Patent are read. He did shake hands with the Lord Speaker, which I seem to remember was also stopped for a while.

The peerage conferred on Dominic Johnson has now been gazetted: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4189707 (London Gazette) & https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4188211 (Edinburgh Gazette). The details are:
"THE KING has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 19 October 2022 to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom for life upon Dominic Robert Andrew Johnson, C.B.E., by the name, style and title of BARON JOHNSON OF LAINSTON, of LAINSTON in the County of Hampshire."
Curiously, a web search shows no settlement named "Lainston" but only a "Lainston House", near Winchester, now a hotel.
The House of Lords website indicates that Simon Murray's peerage has been created today (21 October), as Lord Murray of Blidworth. Both he and Lord Johnson of Lainston are to be introduced on Monday.

Lord Murray of Blidworth has today taken his seat in the House of Lords. Nothing has been gazetted yet, so far as I can see, but the webcast of the ceremony indicates that he is Simon Peregrine Gauvain Murray, Lord Murray of Blidworth, of Blidworth in the County of Nottinghamshire. Letters patent sealed 21 October. (The Peerage News website has a post dated 21 October stating that the title has been gazetted: https://peeragenews.blogspot.com/2022/10/baron-murray-of-blidworth.html. But I cannot find it!)
