McCORMICK Marguerite "Madge" Lavinia (nee McDouall) Passed away peacefully, on February 23, 2026, at the age of 103, a resident of Lower Largo, she is survived by her loving daughters, Jenny and Marguerite and predeceased by her son, John. She will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The burial will take place at Upper Largo Cemetery, on March 6, at 11 a.m., followed by a service of remembrance at Leven Baptist Church, at 11.45 a.m. All are welcome to attend. 

She was the dau of John Crichton Stuart McDOUALL OBE (1878 - 1941), scion of the DUMFRIES earls (descended from a bro of the 6th earl, and see BUTE marquesses in Debrett's) and Marguerite Lavinia GARRETT (died 1950).

She m 1941 Ian Sibbald McCORMICK (d 1967), and had issue: John Sibbald McCORMICK (1944 - 2023), Jennifer and Marguerite.
