He was s of Lt-Col Hon Henry George Orlando BRIDGEMAN 1882-1972 (s of 4th Earl of BRADFORD 1845-1915 and gs of 9th Earl of SCARBROUGH 1813-84) and Joan 1901-91 d of Hon Bernard CONSTABLE-MAXWELL 1848-1938 (s of 10th Lord HERRIES OF TERREGLES 1804-76) and his 2nd w Hon Alice Mary Charlotte FRASER 1870-1908 d of 13th Lord LOVAT 1828-87 and Alice Mary WELD-BLUNDELL 1846-1938 scion of the WELD gentry family of Lulworth. He m 1970 Susan Gay b c1943 reg Q1 Devon d of A Leonard HILL, and had two daus.
