From the Telegraph & Times of 20 Jan 2022: LEATHERS David, died after a long illness on 17th January 2022, in his 80th year. Husband of Amanda, father of Jonathan and Andrew, brother of Michael and the late Rosemary and loving grandfather. Funeral private. Memorial service to be announced later. MEDD Dr Bill (WE) died peacefully at home on 16th January 2022, aged 97. Beloved husband of Julia for 64 precious years. Adored father of Natalie, James, Lulu and Jessica. Devoted grandfather to his eight grandchildren. A service of thanksgiving for his life, followed by refreshments, to which all are invited, will be held on Monday 31st January at 2.30pm at Harbour View, Lytchett Minister BH16 6AN (no need for black ties!) Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to Medecins Sans Frontieres.

He was s of Hon Leslie John LEATHERS 1911-2002 (s of 1st Viscount LEATHERS 1883-1965) and Elizabeth Stella 1913-2006 d of Thomas Stanley NASH 1886-1964 of Haywards Heath, Sussex by his 1910 m reg Q2 London to Elsie Jane ELEY 1881-1972. He m 1968 Amanda Elizabeth Ann b 1943 d of Lt-Col Arthur VYVYAN DENTON 1899-1987 and Patricia Elizabeth Mary 1916-2014 d of Claude Francis STRICKLAND 1881-1962 (2xgt gs of Sir George STRICKLAND 5th Bt 1729-1808) and Dorothy Lisa BRANSON 1887-1972, and had two sons as above.
