As far as I know, the late Mr Uniacke's elder son is not actually married to Rosamund Pike, but she has some interesting family connections.

Her full name is Rosamund Mary Ellen PIKE (born 27 I 1979), and she is the only child of the opera singers (Aubrey) Julian Monsell PIKE (born 1946) and his wife (married 1972), Caroline A FRIEND (born 1944). Julian PIKE is the son of the Rev William Aubrey Monsell PIKE (16 VII 1905 - 13 VI 1987) and his wife (married 1945), Marguerite ROBERTSON (1923 - 6 VI 2021).

The Rev William Aubrey Monsell PIKE was the posthumous son of William Bennett PIKE (12 VII 1873 - 8 II 1905) and his wife (married 7 IX 1904, as her first husband), Anne Elizabeth MONSELL (22 II 1880 - 11 XI 1946), who was herself the younger daughter of William Thomas MONSELL (29 XII 1843 - II 1887) and his wife (married 25 X 1876), Eleanor Grace Katherine O'BRIEN (1860 - 7 IV 1920). Mrs William Bennett Pike was married, secondly, in 1909, to Sir William Henry CLARK, GCMG, KCSI (4 I 1876 - 22 XI 1952).

William Thomas Monsell was the uncle of Bolton Meredith EYRES-MONSELL, 1st Viscount Monsell, GBE, PC (22 II 1881 - 21 III 1969), and he was also a first cousin once removed downwards of William MONSELL, 1st Baron Emly, PC (21 IX 1812 - 20 IV 1894).

Eleanor Grace Katherine O'BRIEN was the youngest daughter of the Hon Robert O'BRIEN (15 X 1809 - 5 III 1870 and his wife (married 14 II 1835), Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy DE VERE (c.1812/13 - 5 III 1889). The Hon Robert O'Brien was a younger son of Sir Edward O'BRIEN, 4th Bt (17 IV 1773 -13 III 1837), and a brother of the 13th Baron Inchiquin; by Royal Licence dated 12 September 1862, he was given the style and precedence of the younger son of a Baron. Elinor de Vere was the eldest daughter of Sir Aubrey DE VERE (formerly HUNT), 2nd Bt (28 VIII 1788 - 5 VII 1846) and his wife, Mary RICE (died 11 II 1856), a sister of the 1st Baron Monteagle of Brandon.

Sir Aubrey de Vere was the only son of Sir Vere HUNT, 1st Bt (c.1761 - 17 VIII 1818) and his wife (married 4 III 1784), the Hon Elinor PERY (died 21 I 1821), daughter of the 1st Baron Glentworth and sister of the 1st Earl of Limerick. Sir Aubrey's youngest son, Maj Francis Horatio DE VERE (12 X 1828 - 22 VIII 1865), was the maternal grandfather of Anne de Vere COLE (c.1882 - 12 II 1967), the wife (married 5 I 1911) of the Rt Hon (Arthur) Neville CHAMBERLAIN (18 III 1869 - 9 XI 1940), Prime Minister 1937-40, and he was also the great-grandfather of Mrs Chamberlain's step-niece, Anne Mary Celestine PALAIRET (14 11 1916 - 19 VIII 1998), the wife (married 28 VIII 1947) of the 2nd Earl of Oxford and Asquith, grandson of the 1st Earl, who, as the Rt Hon Herbert Henry ASQUITH (12 IX 1852 - 15 XII 1928) was Prime Minister, 1908-16.
