From the Daily Telegraph print edition 13 February 2018 Deaths LIDDLE - Alan, died peacefully in his sleep on 8th February, aged 83. Together again
with his darling Sue who died on 20th January. A Service of Thanksgiving to
celebrate both their lives will now be held at Billy Church near Bushmills on
22nd March at 2.30pm. No flowers please.

wife of Alan, mother of Nick, Sam and Mouse, and grandmother to her 9 adored

Katherine Liddle was b 1936 and m Alan Liddle 1956, he was in the Colonial Service Kenya. She was a scion of the Marquesses of QUEENSBERRY, her mother being Violet Katherine SANDARS formerly O'DONOGHUE nee DOUGLAS (1910 - ?), she being the daughter of John Campbell Douglas (1876 - 1960) who was the son of Charles Irvine Douglas-Irvine later Douglas (1837 - 1918) son of Lord William Robert Keith Douglas (1783 - 1859) (granted rank of a Marquess's younger son 1837) brother of the 6th and 7th Marquesses.
