From the Telegraph of 6 June 2025: YEATMAN Robert Yeatman died peacefully in Cambridge on 2nd June 2025 aged 91. Much loved husband of Linda, father of Catherine, Lucy and Rosanna and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
He was s Wing Cdr Harry Morgan YEATMAN RAF 1895-1968 scion of that gentry family of Stock Gaylard (and gt gs of Lady Charlotte Elizabeth SMITH-STANLEY 1801-53 d of 13th Earl of DERBY 1775-1851, etc) and Sylvia Marguerite Giraud 1907-89 d of Richard Hervé Giraud WRIGHT 1867-1939 scion of that Scots gentry family f/o Auchinellan and Ellen Margaret MERCIER d 1951. He m 1963 (Victoria Be)Linda b 1938 d of Richard Montagu VILLIERS 1905-73 (3xgt gs of 1st Earl of CLARENDON 1709-86, etc etc) and Nancy 1908-2000 d of Lt-Gen Sir Charles Alexander Campbell GODWIN KCB CMG DSO 1873-1951 and Catherine OBE c1873-1939 d of Col Victor MILLWARD MP 1840-1901 and Eliza TOMSON 1842-1923, and had three daus as above.
The notice refers to him as a grandfather, but there are no partnerships or issue of the three daus in the either the print or online DPB.
