gs of Sir Charles CLIFFORD 1st Bt 1813-93 (gt gs of 3rd Baron CLIFFORD OF CHUDLEIGH 1700-32) and his cousin Lady Dorothie Mary Evelyn FIELDING 1889-1935 d of 9th Earl of DENBIGH 1859-1939 and Hon Cecilia Mary CLIFFORD 1860-1919 d of 8th Baron CLIFFORD OF CHUDLEIGH 1819-80, gd of 11th Baron PETRE 1793-1850, 7xgt gd of 4th Duke of NORFOLK etc etc. She m 1966 Hon Jonathan Hugh DAVIES b 1944 s of 2nd Baron DAVIES 1915-ka1944 and Ruth Eldrydd 1913-66 d of Maj William Marshall DUGDALE CB DSO TD 1881-1952 scion of that gentry family of Wroxall Abbey and Ruth Edith BANKES 1891-1967 scion of that gentry family of Soughton Hall (and 2xgt gd of 1st Earl of ELDON 1751-1838), and had two sons and four daus.
