MANNERS, Richard John Peveril b 1963 - errors in BPB's entry

The Telegraph of 16 May 2026 has the following engagement announcement: Mr H.E.A. Manners and Miss R.C.A. Pruden - The engagement is announced between Harry, only son of Mr and Mrs Richard Manners, of Wandsworth, and Rosie, daughter of Mr Philip Pruden and Mrs Jane Pruden, of Leicestershire.

BPB2003 p3451 col 1 lists Harry as the son of Richard John Peveril MANNERS b 1963 (gs of 9 Duke of RUTLAND) by his second m to Josephine HILL. This appears to be INCORRECT.

DPB shows Richard John Peverel MANNERS  b 1963: having m first 1996, Hilary C. da of late Neil Hewitson, of Rushlake Green, Sussex. And that he m second 2009 Eloise Dorothea eldest da of late Capt Hon Charles Malcolm NAPIER s of 13 Lord NAPIER & ETTRICK. He had no issue by either marriage.
