From the Telegraph of 20 November 2015: STANLEY The Hon Richard. Died peacefully on 13th November, aged 84. Devoted husband of Phyllida and much loved father of Martin, Oliver, Serena and Laura. Thanksgiving Service at St. John's, Tisbury, Wiltshire on Thursday 10th December at 12.45 p.m. No flowers thank you, but donations for The Rainbow Trust can be sent c/o Chris White Funeral Directors, 12 South Street, Wilton, Salisbury.
He was s of Hon Olivery Hugh STANLEY DSO (1879-1952, scion of the STANLEY OF ALDERLEY & SHEFFIELD barons) by his wife a dau of the 5th Marquess of BATH, and was raised to the rank of a Baron's son 1973. He m 1956 Phylida Mary Katharine (b 1934 reg Q4 London) d of Lt-Col Clive Grantham AUSTIN (1901-74), and Lilian Mary Theodora LUMLEY (1900-81), scion of the SCARBROUGH earls, and had 2 sons and 2 daus as above.
