From the Times of 14 Feb 2024: SUMMERS William Henry (Bill), died peacefully on 10th February, aged 88. Much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. Funeral service at 2pm on 1st March at St Andrew’s Church, Leysters, Leominster... Donations to Parkinson’s UK most welcome.

He was s of Sir Richard Felix SUMMERS 1902-77 (s of Henry Hall SUMMERS 1865-1945 who was also f of Sir Geoffrey SUMMERS 1^st Bt 1891-1972) and Evelyn Victoria 1901-78 d of William Fergusson IRVINE 1869-1962 of Brynllwyn, Llangar, Merioneth by his 1897 m reg Q3 Lancs to Lilian Davies COLLEY 1870-1950. He m 1957 Susan Bowring b 1937 reg Q3 Lancs d of Thomas William (Tom) BIGGE OBE 1908-91 of Putsborough Manor, Georgeham, Devon by his 30 Nov 1935 m (St Peter’s, Eaton Sq) to Pam(ela) 1914-2005 d of Harvey BOWRING 1885-1971 and Ruth DENNY 1886-1971, and had three sons and a dau.
