BENNETT, Sir Ronald Wilfrid Murdoch, 3rd Bt (1930-?)

The Official Roll of the Baronetage now shows Sir Algernon James Bennett as 4th Baronet of Kirklington, Notts from which it follows that Sir Ronald has died.  Can't find anything on the web immediately - Sir Ronald's address in Debrett's 2019 was in Switzerland

It also follows that the previously believed hp - Mark Edward Francis Bennett b 1960 has predeceased Sir Ronald - a quick probate search reveals his date of death as 13 December 2008 (if it is the right person)

Sir Algernon b 1962 m 1997 Penelope A Smith and they have a dau Mariella Rose b 1999 and a son Hugo Charles b 2001, the new ha.  There appear to be no other heirs.

It also follows - I had overlooked this - that the 3rd Baronet's half-uncle Peter Bennett b 1938 (of Byfleet, Surrey) has also died

Apologies - actually it doesn't follow that Peter Bennett has died and he is the only other heir, if alive.  The layout of Debrett's caught me out.

I have verified through the GRO indices that the Mark Edward Francis BENNETT who died Q4 2008 was born in 1960, so the probate entry is almost certainly the correct person.

I don't believe it follows that Peter BENNETT has died - Algernon is descended from the 2nd son of the 1st Bt, whilst Peter is the 3rd son of the 1st Bt. Nonetheless, there is evidence that he has died.

Peter BENNETT - according to Electoral Roll records, he was resident at an address in West Byfleet KT14 with Monique Christine Bennett until 2016. She continues in residence to the current day, suggesting he died in 2016. Other residents include Melissa Lucie BENNETT & Tiffany Claire BENNETT. Further work indicates they were daughters of Peter & Monique, born 1971 and 1973 respectively. Neither dau listed in DB 2003

There are a lot of Peter BENNETT deaths out there, but careful checking of GRO indices suggests this death:

This might be the Peter BENNETT who died 17 July 2016 listed on the probate indices

I am sure he has children, as in the 106th Edition of Burkes, he is the last heir ?

Per the latest Debrett's, Sir Algernon has the one son, the ha, Hugo Charles, b.2001.

There is no one else in remainder.
