From the Telegraph of 1 June 2021: PELLY David Claude Raymond died on Friday 28th May, aged 79, after a long illness. Much loved by his wife Philippa, daughters Tessa and Lorna and grandchildren Isobel, Alexandra, Finlay and Angus.
He was s of ACM Sir Claude Bernard Raymond PELLY GBE KCB MC RAF 1902-72 (scion of the vast baronetical family of that name, being 2xgt gs of Sir John Henry PELLY 1st Bt 1777-1852) and Margaret Ogilvie 1904-90 d of Edwin John SPENCER 1859-1931 b his 1902 m reg Q4 London to Julia Constance OGILVIE 1869-. He m 1974 Philippa Margaret b c1949 reg Q1 Herts d of (Anthony) Peter BOWMAN d 2016 by his 1944 m reg Q4 Surrey to Patricia Margaret WAUGH 1924-2011, and had two daus as above.
