_.The engagement was announced 12 June, 2009, between James William
Guy Feilden (b 1980), descended from the Viscounts Hampden, son of
Andrew James Feilden (b 1941), of Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire, by his
wife the former Rowena Jane Brassey, LVO (b 1945) Lady-in-Waiting to
HRH The Princess Royal, scion of the Barons Brassey and a
granddaughter maternally of the 5th Marquess of Exeter, and Emily H.
Barneby, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs John Barneby, of Longcot,
Oxfordshire.

Emily Henrietta [birth reg. Spring qtr of 1981] is a scion of the LG
family of Llanerchy-Coed formerly of Brockhampton. The last recorded
head of that family, Lt-Col Henry Habington Barneby TD (b 1909) had 4
surv sons, 3 by his 2nd wife Angela Margaret, dau of late Capt William
Finlay CAMPBELL, of Harewood Park, Ross, Herefordshire, the youngest
of whom (Emily's father) is John Henry BARNEBY b 1949 m [Times
engagement notice 5 Aug] 1974 Alison S dau of A D DOUGER of Church
Mead, Sparsholt, Winchester. They also had a son b 1 [Times 3] July
1985 and another dau b 15 [Times 17] Dec 1982, and possibly others I
can't find.

Harewood Park now in the portfolio of the Duchy of Cornwall and mooted
as a first
marital home for Prince William.
