From the Times of 9 Feb 2021: THICKNESSE Pamela Joan Crundall (née Salmon) on 4th February 2021 peacefully in her 98th year. Devoted widow of Ralph (died 1985), loving mother of Sarah, Joanna, Anne, Caroline and Thomas, 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be organised in due course.
She was d of Rev Canon Douglas Murray SALMON (1884-1970) and Marjorie Joan Crundall DAY (1885-1975). She m 1944 Rev Ralph THICKNESSE (1921-85) sometime head of that gentry family f/o Beech Hill and had a son and four daus as above.
