Barbara WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Barbara Mary Stewart. Born October 22, 1930. Passed away on October 07, 2023. Our world got a little less bright with the passing of our beloved Mum, Grandmother, Aunty, friend, and all-round hero, Barbie at the rich age of 92. It was a fast but peaceful goodbye for the dearly loved wife of the late Harold Vosper and Peter Wilson; precious Mum and friend to Frank and Di, Richard and Prab, Kaye and Neil, Robyn and Paul and Stewart; adored grandmother to Lauren, Kirk, Nikolas, Mitchell, Sarah, Brooke, Jackson, Lawrence, Lachlan, Georgia, Rory, Jessica, Ava, Stella, and Fergus; Great Grandmother to five little ones. Beloved Aunt to 26 nieces and nephews; and a treasured connection for so many more. A celebration of Barbie's very special life will be held at 2pm on Thursday 19 October at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga. Please wear your brightest colours to farewell her in the style she deserves. In lieu of flowers, please plant, pick, buy, or smell a rose for yourself or someone else to remember her bright, kind, and infectious spirit. We will love and remember you always Barbie [my bold]

She was the d of Arthur James STEWART-HENDERSON (1884-1950), scion of the Stewart-Richardson Baronets being the son of the 3rd son of the 13th Bt, and (m 1913) Kathleen Mary HUNTER (d 1964). She m (1) 1950 Harold VOSPER (d 1960) and (2) Peter G WILSON (d 2002). 

It seems her eldest son Frank Stewart may have married again (to Di), her 2nd son Richard Arthur may have married fourthly (to Prab) and her yst son Stewart James may be div or widowed.  Only one great-grandchild in DPB
